My first purchase from Dan was my black, silver and gold zebra which represents myself as the zebra is the mascot of rare diseases, especially my own, and the silver and gold reflect the strength needed to manage the many additional challenges rare disease life can bring. Once it arrived and I saw how stunning it was, I decided I wanted to order a second one for my friend who has the same condition but many more complications so I wanted hers to have more colours, hence I asked Dan for his next 'excess' slot which means he paints the model with all the paints left at the end of an evening's painting (so it's a pot luck based on the colours everone else chooses that day). This second zebra is absolutely beautiful and the rainbow of colours truly represents my friend's many complexities medically but also her incredible capacity for joy and finding the good in every day. Thanks Dan for two stunning zebras which we will both cherish for years to come.

I purchased this already painted excess bust having seen it on the live. I love how it has so many vibrant colours because it uses up all the excess paint from the day, it is fun and enjoyable to look at. It has brightened up the space, really pleasing to the eye and truly unique. Thank you.
